HeadLok

The HeadLok is a specialized, flat head fastener engineered for a wide range of panel applications including Structural Insulated Panels, Prefabricated Wall Panels, and Nailboard, and can be used in wood, structural concrete,* corrugated and structural steel substrates.

 

*For structural concrete, use HeadLok with spade points only. Predrilling is required. Pull tests should always be preformed to determine proper hole/drill size. Pilot holes should be atleast a 1/2-in. deeper than fastener embedment.

Application

Install HeadLok using a high torque, low RPM, corded screw gun or 18-volt cordless drill.  Bring underside of the washer head flat to the surface.  Do not overdrive; no predrilling required. For steel substrates, proper point style must be determined depending on the steel gauge thickness.

Coating

OMG CR-10 corrosion resistant coating exhibits less than 15% red rust after 30 Kesternich cycles. CR-10 coating exceeds F.M. Approval Standard 4470.
