PowerGrip - Don’t rip it! Grip it with OMG PowerGrip!

OMG PowerGrip is a roof mount system designed to secure rooftop solar racks and other equipment to roofs covered with thermoplastic (TPO and PVC) roof's membranes. PowerGrip provides a secure connection directly to the roof deck or structural members. Once heat welded in place, properly installed PowerGrips virtually eliminate rack movement and remain watertight. Factory fabricated PowerGrips are easy-to-install and can be made with any TPO or PVC membrane on the market for 100% compatibility with the roofing system. Since they eliminate the need to cut open the roof down to the deck, PowerGrips help save valuable time and labor. In addition, PowerGrips can be used with most solar rack systems currently available.

Features & Benefits

  • Properly installed PowerGrips provide a secure anchor to the roof deck and remain watertight.
  • Simple installation process saves time and labor.
  • 100% compatible with TPO and PVC roofing membranes.
  • Helps protect thermoplastic roof covers from damage due to lateral rack movement.
  • Wide, nine-inch diameter flange is easy to weld in place.
  • 1 5/8-in. diameter x 1/2-in. tall mount, provides optimal perch for solar rack systems.
  • Exposed 1-in. tall x 3/8-in. diameter bolt and mounting stand are made from corrosion-resistant stainless steel and aluminum alloy for superior long-term performance.

PowerGrip is available in several membrane types, thicknesses and brands, and is fully compatible with mechanically attached, fully adhered and ballasted roof systems.

Other Applications

PowerGrip is also ideal for a wide variety of other roof-top applications.

OMG PowerGrip is offered as an alternative roof mount system. Only technicians trained in single-ply roof installation should install this product. Furthermore, you should always check with the roof system manufacturer for installation criteria and written acceptance of the intended application prior to installation. Failure to do so could void the roof warranty. For structural applications, always consult a structural engineer for installation criteria prior to application.
